Aragwadha Mahatikthakam ghrutham is an Ayurvedic medicated ghee preparation used for the treatment of skin diseases. This yoga has no classical reference. This formulation is prepared out of medicines having major tastes as bitter.

METHOD OF PREPARATION
Preparation of decoction
384 g each of Aragwatha and amalaki are taken and made into a coarse powder. This added with eight times water and reduced to one-fourth.
Preparation of ghee
The drugs for the preparation of paste are taken in the specified quantity and made into a fine paste. 768 ml of ghee is taken to which decoction and paste of drugs are added and cooked in the mild fire, till the paste of drugs attain a stage when it can be rolled to a wicked shape. The ghee is then filtered and collected.

6. | Vacha | Balances kapha vata dosha and improves intelligence. It is used in the treatment of neurological disorders, obesity, fever, etc. |

DOSAGE:
Usually 10 g twice daily can be given. For snehapana (oleation) the dose can be fixed considering the digestive strength of the patient.

Can adopt simple yoga postures, meditation, and pranayama.

PATHYA AHARAS AND VIHARAS
It is desirable to avoid hot, spicy, and pitta, and raktha (blood) vitiating foods and regimen. Day sleep is to be avoided.
